It's a big weekend at our house. It's the BALLET CONCERT and this year's theme is "The Wizard of Oz", so I thought it only fitting that I feature its doggy star - Toto the Cairn Terrier.
Cairn Terriers originated in Scotland and were used for ratting & vermin control. They also contributed to the development of one of Australia's own breeds, The Australian Terrier. In real life, Toto was actually a female Cairn called Terry who was paid $125 per week, more than double what the "munchikins" were paid. Where was the Actors' Union for that one?
Happy Walking, folks!
Love Toto! Enjoy the concert. We have one too! Mimi x
